Born and raised in South Africa, internationally celebrated interior and furnishing designer Penny Morrison lives between her London home and Welsh manor house.
With over 35 years of experience, Penny has accumulated an extensive list of clients. Her unique flair for creating charming interiors that are at once refined and undone has earned her a reputation as one of the most sought-after designers in Britain and around the world.
After struggling to find the perfect curtain and upholstery designs, Penny developed her range of fabrics – ‘floppy linens’. Since then, she has expanded her range to encompass decorative home accessories including lamps, cushions, tableware and vases. From Turkish embroidery and Japanese textiles to Anglo-Indian symbols and Ancient Greek motifs, the designs are a rich accumulation of inspiration from cultures around the world and throughout history. The result is an exciting collection of pieces and fabrics that will make a statement in any space.
Sarah has worked in the interior design industry for over 20 years. Creating this collection of fabrics and wallpapers over the last five years has been a natural progression for Sarah.
As Penny’s daughter, Sarah grew up surrounded by fabrics and antique textiles and her love for traditional fabrics, colour and pattern are strongly reflected in her designs. The collection started with an old ‘toile’ botanical design that has been updated using modern, bold colours and has now grown to include five designs. Sarah loves to use strong, bright colours alongside more muted tones – mixing patterns from many Eastern cultures with the crisper influences of her counterparts in the US. Her growing collection has a fresh, vibrant feel and reflects these many influences.
